I found some useful info in the following thread here on : 'NIC not recognized', and subsequently tried to do an rpm install of kmod-atl1e-xen-1.0.1.86_64.rpm to no avail, along with the module init tools package:Īny ideas on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated. ![]() I was able to at least get the system to think the NIC was working in order to get past the initial setup screen and install XCP by pasting the card's device ID number (1969:1083) into sys/bus/pci/drivers/ATL1E/new_id. ![]() In addition, it doesn't appear that I can even get to the point where I can load the DDK into a VM to use it since with no networking, I can't really get XCP to do much. XCP is 1.0 or 1.1-rc, while XenServer is up to version 5.6, I believe. I believe that they can be compiled with the Xen DDK but I'm not quite sure which one to use since XCP and XenServer version numbers do not match. Scouring the web, I've tried a number of drivers that others have compiled for Xenserver to no avail, and have tried the ELRepo KMOD drivers also with no success. ![]() At this point, I'm still trying to get this to work for dom0. ![]() I'm trying to virtualize a CentOS 5.7 guest under XCP (the current 1.1 RC base 50674 iso) and am having trouble getting a driver to work with the onboard LAN controller on an ASUS P8H67-V motherboard.
